Welcome
Peter Piper picked a peck of pickled peppers
Hi there
What's new?
Que pasa?
How much wood would a woodchuck chuck?
Shelly sold seashells by the seashore
There's was an old lady who lived in a shoe.
There once was a man from Nantucket.
The ants go marching one-by-one... hurrah!
Hickory dickory dock, three mice ran up the clock, the clock struck one and the other two got away with minor injuries.
Is the Hokey Pokey really what it's all about?
Why do we drive in a parkway, and park in a driveway?
Why did the chicken cross the road?
Why did the cow jump over the moon?
Georgie Porgie, puddin' and (K-HITS money) pie (in your face)

Greatest Superbowl Commercial Ever?

Got a link sent to me yesterday from a friend, Max.  He tells me it's his all time favorite superbowl commercial.  Apparently it aired just twice on TV, that's it.  I had never seen it.  It's a powerful one!

Time to see Groundhog Day again, and again, and again....

It's Groundhog Day and it looks like we'll be having another 6 weeks of winter!  Sure hope it includes more snow for the sierra.  Have you ever seen the flick Groundhog Day?  If you haven't, rent it and check it out.  I think it's one of the best Hollywood has ever produced.  Here's a few minutes to enjoy.

SuperBowl TV Ads

I just know there will be many entertaining commercials during this years Super Bowl telecast.  Doritos is running a contest and this is one commercial that's vying to be chosen to run during the big game.  I think it's pretty hilarious, how about you?

American Idol New Season Tonight

I'm really ready for the new season of American Idol and it begins tonight at 8.  It's two hours of auditions from Savannah.  Here's a preview of some of the talent we'll be seeing.

Whatta Concert!

Thanks to everyone that came and joined us Friday night at the Sheepherder Bar and Grill.  We had a ball celebrating Elvis' birthday.  If you missed Rob Ely as Elvis, here's a little video clip.  Needless to say, he was awesome!

Your Model Train Set?

I bet your model train set around the Christmas tree looks nothing like this one!  I've never been to Hamburg but it's probably worth the flight just to see this setup.

Michael Jackson and Freddie Mercury Together?

Have you heard this?  When the new Queen album, made up of archive songs with Freddie Mercury that are being completed and mastered by the surviving members, hits stores in 2012, it may feature a duet between Mercury and Michael Jackson.

Brian May told London’s Evening Standard that the song was recorded at Jackson’s house in the late 80s. "Michael used to come and see us when we were on tour in the States. He and Freddie became close friends, close enough to record a couple of tracks together at Michael’s house, tracks which have never seen the light of day," he told the newspaper.

He also confirmed that the Jackson estate have approved the release.

As reported previously, Queen have been going through old unreleased records of Freddie Mercury and now have enough material to release a new Queen record featuring Mercury vocals next year.

Here's a bootleg recording of one of those tracks!

Andy Kim's Back in the Studio

Andy Kim gave us some great music in the late 60's and early 70's.  He wrote Sugar Sugar when he was just 17.  He topped the charts with songs like Rock Me Gently.  Recently he was back in the studio working on new material with Ed Robertson, the frontman for Barenaked Ladies.  You might recall Andy was one of our performers at our very first Hullaballoo concert.  Here he is on stage...

Taco Cat

Yeh, I know, it's Photo-Shopped!  But it still made me laugh.  Happy Halloween!!
